A young man goes to visit his Grampa and, after a few hours, they have dinner. That’s when he notices that the plates have specks of left-over food on them. So he says “Grampa, your dishes are dirty”, to which Grampa replies “They’re as clean as cold water can get them.” Later on, the Grandson also notices that the glasses are dirty as well – when he comments, Grampa again replies “They’re as clean as cold water can get them.”

The next morning, as he’s setting the table for breakfast, he sees a big smear of egg yolk on one of the plates. “Grampa”, he says, “Cold water should be able to wash this off if you just let it soak.” Grampa turns to the dog and says “Cold Water, Grandson doesn’t think you do a good enough job on the dishes…”
